ABOUT US
The Miniature Museum of Greater St. Louis houses an extensive display of tiny objects throughout our 6,200 square feet of exhibit space on two floors.
We began in 1989 with a common goal : to establish a centrally located museum to house and display miniature works and collections for people of all ages to view and enjoy. Cultural and educational aspects are foremost in the hearts of our members. In February 2000, the building was purchased and renovated in the heart of the Bevo Mill neighborhood of south St Louis in what was once Haag's Furniture Interiors store. We opened June 27, 2001. |
To view some of our collections, go to the Our Collections page. Education Classes are held periodically for anyone wishing to learn more about the hobby and meet others with the same interest.
The museum sponsors a "Mini Sellers" Garage Sale in the spring where fellow hobbyists sell their extra items and treasures to the public, and a “Museum Only” Mini Sale in the summer or fall.
The museum is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and General Membership with opportunities to volunteer in our museum and gift shop. To become a member or donor, please go to the Membership page. Members receive free admission to the museum, invitations to special events, access to the library, and a subscription to the quarterly newsletter, Small Matters. Comments or questions?
